Holistic 1:1 Mental Health Coaching
Coaching is directed more towards your present state and how to move forward. Unlike counseling, we do not spend a lot of time talking about your past. Instead we focus on behavioral changes that can happen now in order to help you move towards your goals more quickly.
It includes a very detailed intake so that we can uncover what might be causing your mental health issues. My approach is always holistic and includes all of who you are mentally, physically and spiritually.
Coaching cannot legally treat a specific mental health diagnosis, but it can provide support, guidance and education about mental health symptoms.
I am trained as a Certified Functional Nutritionist and use this a lot in the coaching frame work. We will look deep into your physical health and take a close look at what your body is trying to tell you and how to get it in a more balanced state. We will explore your food intake as well as what changes can be made to support healing and health.
Coaching provides more support between sessions with text and email availability. Counseling does not provide this service.
Coaching includes more nutritional support.

Holistic 1:1 Mental Health Counseling
We take a deep dive into your mental health and explore what might be causing your anxiety/depression symptoms. We may work through past traumas, limiting beliefs and unhealthy coping patterns, ect. I provide guidance along the way as you uncover shadows and blind spots that may be holding you back.
My approach is eclectic and individualized to the client I am working with. It includes a mental, physical and spiritual health.
Counseling treats a specific mental health diagnosis such as anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Because of my background in Functional Nutrition we will also rule out physical ailments that may mimic depression/anxiety. I also provide education and support on how food can affect your mood and brain health. We may discuss recipes and specific changes to make to your diet, depending on your individual concerns and goals.
Cost: $130 per 50-minute session
This service may be covered by insurance. I currently have a few spots open for insurance. I work with Blue Cross Blue Shield / Anthem and TriCare insurance companies.
If you want to use your insurance, and you do not have one of the above providers, you may be able to use your Out Of Network Benefits.
Young Womans Group
This is an 8-week group that meets weekly for 90 minutes.
